My pottery is made for functional, everyday use in the home. Each piece is handmade and therefore slightly more fragile than manufactured pottery. Each piece is therefore food, dishwasher, and theoretically microwave safe. However, I do recommend handwashing and avoid using for food and drink that could stain. The power of microwaves varies, and therefore I cannot recommend putting handmade pottery in the microwave. Having said this, I have been using my pottery in the dishwasher and microwave for several years without any problems.
